My Students

First grade is a crucial year! Scholars learn the beginnings of everything from reading and writing sentences, as well as making sense of math problems. There just isn't enough time in the day. We are constantly on our feet, learning!

Majority of our scholars receive free or reduced lunch.

They come from a low socioeconomic status. Our school has determined scholars willing and eager to learn. Our scholars are full of energy, and curiosity. They love to explore new experiences when given the opportunity.

My Project

My scholars love to read! They start off the day by reading their just right books. We have a leveled library with books ranging from levels A - N. The majority of my scholars are reading on levels A -F. These leveled books will allow my scholars to practice their reading skills and build their love for reading. Scholars will use the tablets to build their phonics skills, that will help them become better readers.

These leveled books and tablets will help my scholars become better readers.

Majority of my scholars don't have many resources at home. Scholars will be able to experience the different variety and genre of just right books and technology through these materials.
