My Project

I am a new English teacher. I am creating a welcoming, cozy classroom with a library of diverse books, flexible seating, and colorful art and quotes. I would like to furnish my classroom with flexible seating to help accommodate all learning styles. Making sure that students have choices and are comfortable is essential to students remaining engaged and motivated to learn. Having a diverse classroom library allows my students to select books that interest them which helps their love for literature grow. A library filled with a large variety of books helps improve literacy.

These items will help my students recover from the impact of the coronavirus on learning this past year by helping inspire them and increase their literacy skills and love for literature.
