Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I serve a group of 3-year-old students who come from low socio-economic status.

I would like to give my students the opportunity to express themselves through art by creating a Mother's Day Present.

This will increase their imagination and allow them to put their feelings into words and drawings creating a piece of art for their loved one. Students will be reviewing the different shapes and understand how they could be used to create a new drawing according to their different attributes and promoting eye hand coordination and tactile skills needed for reading and writing.
