This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are dedicated student-athletes who proudly represent our school on the badminton court. Our high school team represents a school from an area that has a lower socioeconomic status compared to other high schools in the area.

Our badminton family continues to grow each year, and we have students of all grade levels with a variety of skill levels.

My student athletes are committed to representing our school with good sportsmanship and respect for their sport as well as maintaining their good academic standing throughout each school year.

My Project

Our badminton team is starting the 2017 season, and we have more students joining than in previous years! We are very excited, but we need more rackets to accommodate everyone. Currently, some players must share their rackets during practices so everybody can have a turn. We want to be able to maximize our time and have everyone play and practice together.

Rackets and equipment are expensive ,and we need your help so every student can learn and play.

With such limited time and resources, we want everybody who comes out to join to have access to the tools that will help them be successful on the court.
