Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are part of an IB World school, as well as a school that does STEAM. They are between six and seven years of age. All of them are very bright and eager to learn. They look forward to coming to school every day.

I love including different strategies in my classroom to keep things engaging and exciting.

I believe hands-on learning is incredibly important. I just hope to be able to fund the necessary materials for our classroom.

My Project

All the materials will be used to ensure that my students will be able to receive the most engaging education possible. For example, using the whiteboards for math practice and the clipboards for "Write the Room" activities to get the kids moving. I have also included different art materials in order to incorporate our STEAM curriculum into our learning.

I would like to teach my students good organizational skills, which is where the hanging folders and the class mailboxes will be helpful.

Some materials are for me to use to create a print-rich classroom, such as the chart paper and the laminating machine.

These materials will be put to good use and will be greatly appreciated by my kiddos and me.
