Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am switching grade levels next year and need your help! The majority of my students come from low income families. Students come to school ready to learn and eager to share their experiences and learning with others. Fifth grade is such an important year for growth and development and getting ready for middle school.

My Project

I need supplies for my students for the next school year. I teach fifth grade ELA, and I would like to be able to supply my students with the tools they need to be successful. We need notebooks to take notes and answer questions about the books we are reading. We need colored pencils, highlighters, and pens to make marking the text easier. The pencil pouches will help to keep our binders organized. We also need organizers to help with classroom organization.

We are an AVID school, and I believe all students are capable of success.

Some just need a little extra help getting the supplies they need. If I am able to provide students with the needed supplies, the students will be able to focus on their learning.
