My Project

My grade 4 scholars are a fantastic bunch of thoughtful, caring 10-11-year-old boys and girls who cautiously entered my classroom in September 2024. This was their first experience with having two core teachers. In September 2024, we became departmentalized. I am assigned Math and Science. My teammate has been assigned to all aspects of Literacy. We have made it through 2/4 of our academic year together, and I would like to continue to reward them for all of their hard work and perseverance through the abnormality of having grade 4 with departmentalized instruction. This method of instruction has already been a win-win. Students are getting the best of both worlds when teachers can thoroughly teach the subjects they are passionate about. They can give each of us their best socially, emotionally, and, of course, ACADEMICALLY. This group has touched my heart in more ways than words can describe.

Help me help surprise each of my grade 4 students with graduation caps that they can design using the fabric markers to help them celebrate this achievement and make it memorable as they pose with their friends in front of the banners!
