My Students
I teach in a Pre K-8 building. There are on all different academic levels. Some are 2-3 years behind grade level, but work hard to improve in subject areas. Some are no grade level, but want to do better, while others are above grade level and strive to get on the honor roll.
My Project
Many times, the achievements of students seem to go unnoticed or forgotten. This is especially true if there has been negative behavior from other students overshadowing the good. Students work so hard and have an awards ceremony, but after the ceremony, it seem that other students forget their peers accomplishments. There is no recognition in the hallway to show off their hard work.
Help students show off their hard work and progress!!
Student names will be listed in the picture frames for those who achieve honor roll in grades 6-8 as well as most improved and our pride awards.
In addition, highlighting the birthdays of the week will make all students feel special. Seeing their name under the birthday banner will let all students know when it is their peers' day to shine.
