My Project
Three-quarters of our current students are free and reduced-price-lunch-eligible, which means they live below the poverty level. Many students do not have access to design tools at home. School is their only chance to engage with their artistic side.
The shirts will serve as the backdrop for students' first step into entrepreneurship.
Students work with design in STEM. Included are the concepts of drawing, 3D design, laser, and CNC design. Students will be able to use these blanks to create projects.
The more design opportunities the students are exposed to, the more prepared they will be for the future. We want them to be creators, not consumers.
