My Project

In third grade, some of my students are beginning to experience the joys of puberty and all that comes with it. I would like to create a space to store personal hygiene products for my students.

This locker would help us to create a safe space in our classroom where students can inconspicuously get the personal hygiene products they need without having to feel embarrassed in front of their peers.

The locker would house products like sanitary napkins, tampons, spray-on deodorant, and bandaids. Additionally, I would also fill the locker with snacks for students who might not have had breakfast or are coming to school hungry. It could also be used to lock up students' personal belongings, such as cell phones, in order to keep their things safe and secure. The magnetic hooks and marker storage would be used to help decorate and organize supplies inside and outside of the locker, while the shelf would be used to maximize space inside of the locker and allow for organization.
