My Project

My 8th grade special education students who are all first generation learners in America and come from diverse backgrounds would benefit from reaching out of their communities and connect by learning about and from others. Digital resources from Teachers Pay Teachers will unlock doors to essential materials that are rich and relevant and shared by a worldwide network of expert teachers who collaborate with and inspire each other. As my students prepare to graduate and transition to high school, they will greatly benefit from the collective wisdom of master teachers and build the skills necessary to thrive in a global society. All materials in this project will teach students how to regulate their emotions, effectively handle pressure, make tough decisions and respond to challenges wherever they go in life.
