Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is Title I and is located in a predominately Hispanic area. My students are faced with many obstacles both in and out of the classroom. Despite all the obstacles they face, their parents are very supportive and willing to help make a change.
My students love school!
They are eager to get their hands on their next learning adventure. They are willing and able to try just about anything related to their learning. They love to discuss things that they learn about and the books that they read with us during morning meeting. More importantly, my students want to be loved and to belong. My goal is to show them that they matter in a world this big and that they are destined for greatness.

My Project
My students and I look for different ways to help make the world beautiful. With this laminator and large pouches, they will be able to make posters for our classroom by using an inspirational quote of their choice and using the pencils to draw and color vibrant pictures to go with it. By laminating them, they will last the entire year and they can even take them home.
Why laminate?
Because we want to preserve some things, make them last, turn it into a dry erase, or for gifts. Laminating such items like our passes make it easy for disinfecting also. The list goes on and on about all the things we can do with a laminator in the classroom.
