My Project

Bringing the plant tower into the classroom will be a wonderful opportunity. I have seen classrooms change when plants are present in the classroom. Students are able to feel calmer, and connect with the outdoors while having to be inside the classroom learning. Students are able to be actively engaged in the life cycle of plants and overall ecology of nature on a daily basis. You will be bringing natural life into a windowless classroom.

My students will noticeably be more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are able to learn in a positive and inviting environment.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and personal growth of each student. Students will even be able to take the food directly home and eat them. In this tower, there will be enough seedlings for each student to be personally involved with the growing process as well.
