Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year my students have the opportunity to learn and participate in different sports because of great Community Based Organizations and Non-profits that are willing to help us provide the knowledge and skills to our young leaders of tomorrow. Softball will be one of the sports they will be learning. They will be learning this wonderful sport 2 days out of the week as an afterschool program. Our kids will be playing against other elementary schools in the Bronx and competing in a tournament. Not only will they gain new sport skillsets, this is another way for our students to gain team building and communicational skills without the technology screens while playing outside in the sun. Let's not forget, this is a great to stay fit and healthy. By donating you can help us build a more strong community within the school building and outside. Games and practices are great ways to brings friends and family together. In order any of these things to happen we need your help giving them the items they need to be successful.
