My Project

In our classroom, my students are eager to express themselves through writing, but many are not yet ready for traditional letter formation or copying from the board. My students, grades 1-3, are all on the autism spectrum and require individualized tools and strategies to meet their unique learning needs. With your support, I aim to provide them with the resources they need to build independence, foster creativity, and gain confidence in their abilities.

The writing tools I am requesting will help my students take their first steps toward creating their own writing pieces.

These tools will encourage independence and ownership of their work, helping them feel capable and proud of their accomplishments. Additionally, the organizational materials—such as pocket charts, sentence strips, and labels—will transform our classroom into a more structured environment that supports their success. These resources will help us create systems that promote independence, making it easier for my students to navigate the room and access the materials they need throughout the day.

This project will empower my students to take control of their learning, providing differentiated instruction and tools that meet them where they are. Your generosity will help build their confidence, foster their creativity, and show them that they are capable of achieving more than they ever thought possible.
