My children love to experience science in the classroom. I've succeeded in passing my "science geek" gene on to every single one of them! We do science activities every week. The children study topics such as the solar system, life cycles, solids and liquids, and plants. Science is a time the children freely explore, touch, talk, and share ideas and experiences. Our science program includes lots of field trips and outdoor explorations. When I saw portable microscopes in a teacher's catalog, I immediately thought of my students. They could take these with them on our nature walks, trips, and use them in the classroom...the possibilities are endless! I am also always on the lookout for engaging experiments to do with the children. The "All in One" science resource kit would provide me with wonderful activities for my students! Thank you for reading this proposal and morally supporting young scientists everywhere!
