My Project

My Pre-K students are full of curiosity, wonder, and excitement for learning. Everyday, they come to class eager to explore, ask questions, and engage in hands-on experiences. They see the world as a place of endless possibilities, and I want to nurture that excitement by providing them with tools that encourage discovery, creativity, and problem-solving. They are natural scientists—observing, experimenting, and making sense of the world through play and exploration.

Science comes alive when children can experience it firsthand, and that’s exactly what this project will provide.

With an educational talking microscope, my students will get up close with real images of animals, plants, and more while hearing fun science facts. STEM challenge learning cards and hands-on activity cards will encourage critical thinking, teamwork, and early engineering skills as they work through engaging challenges. The highlight of this project will be the Insect Lore Butterfly Pavilion with live caterpillars, giving my students the chance to witness the full life cycle of a butterfly right in our classroom. To bring all these exciting experiences together, we need a science activity table, which will serve as a dedicated space for hands-on experiments and investigations.

My goal for this project is to foster a love for STEM by creating an engaging, interactive environment where my students can explore and experiment. These resources will allow them to develop problem-solving skills, build confidence, and experience the thrill of scientific discovery. What makes my students special is their endless enthusiasm for learning. They are hands-on learners who thrive when given opportunities to question, investigate, and make connections to the world around them. With your support, I can provide them with meaningful experiences that will inspire a lifelong love of science and exploration. Thank you for believing in my students and their bright futures!
