My Project

My students are curious, creative, and eager to learn. They range from Kindergarten to 2nd grade and are in the most important years of building foundational literacy skills. Many of them are working hard to catch up and need targeted support in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, and comprehension.

Our school community is vibrant and diverse, and we work hard to ensure every student feels seen, valued, and supported.

These early years are critical—and with the right tools, our students can thrive!

These materials will be used in our K–2 intervention blocks and tiered support time. They will allow us to meet students where they are and move them forward with engaging, research-based strategies.

Whether a student is just beginning to blend sounds or is struggling to decode multisyllabic words, these tools will help them feel successful and supported.

Early literacy skills shape everything that comes after. By funding this project, you’ll be putting powerful tools directly in the hands of students who need them most—and helping to close learning gaps before they widen.

Together, we can give these young readers the chance to grow with confidence, joy, and success.
