Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine a classroom where young learners can curl up with a book in a cozy rocker, stretch out with a story on a lap desk, or find the perfect reading spot that helps them focus and feel excited about books. My goal is to create a warm, inviting space that encourages my students to develop a love for reading from an early age.

Many of my students are just beginning their reading journey, and the right environment can make all the difference.

By providing flexible seating options like rocker chairs and lap desks, I want to give them the freedom to choose where and how they read, making the experience enjoyable and engaging. When students feel comfortable, they are more likely to immerse themselves in a book, strengthening their skills and confidence along the way.
