My Students

I teach a Preschool for All Learners class (PALS). Our students are 3 to 5 years old diverse learners with individual physical and academic needs. In our classroom, my little learners receive specialized support from a fantastic Adaptive Physical Education Teacher, an outstanding Occupational Therapist, a super Speech/Language Therapists, and a passionate Physical Therapist . We all work as a team to help them meet their individualized goals so they can be successful now and throughout life. In our classroom, our students learn in large/small groups using hands on material. Many of our little learners are learning English language and they all live in an area in Los Angeles where all students qualify for the free-lunch program at our Title I school.

My Project

My little learners need Ready for Preschool Backpacks. These little backpacks pack a punch. They include colorful bears that my students will use for counting, sorting and creating patterns. The backpacks also include colorful alphabet cards that will be used for letter recognition and language building.

These mighty backpacks also include the highly desired Slot-A- Shape Builders will be used for shape identification, hand eye coordination and for imaginative play.

The backpacks also include a small ball that will keep my little learners moving and healthy.

One of the best aspects of these backpacks is they include read along book and a calendar that contains many developmentally appropriate activities in English and Spanish. These Ready For Preschool Backpacks will help my students to not only get ready but stay ready.
