Little Minds Need Organization and a Welcoming Atmosphere to Grow
Help me give my students multiple items that they can use for small groups to help build their fine motor skills and ignite their small minds as they start Pre-K.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The specific items I am requesting will help with organization in the classroom and create more space for a variety of learning activities for students. I am requesting a gift card for TPT to purchase activities and theme decor to make my classroom more colorful and welcoming for students. The dry-erase pockets will be used to place different worksheets inside to help students practice their handwriting skills. The trays will be used to place manipulatives, sand, and paint, etc. when setting up different learning stations for students to explore. The bookshelf is to store books that are read to the class for the different themes throughout the year. The colorful storage container is for independent activities that have multiple items to be stored together so that students can have grab-and-go activities of their choice. The caddies are for individual tables organization of crayons, pencils, glue, and scissors.
My goal for this project is to start the school year prepared and to keep the students engaged in a variety of activities.
My students are special because this will be their first time in school. My class will set the tone of how they view school for years to come.
