Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This was my first year as an art teacher and it was so amazing! Teaching over 450 students, in a low income inner-city school district with minimal funds, one can only imagine how fast we go through art supplies. DonorsChoose gives these children the means to experience and learn how to express themselves in a positive way.

I feel so grateful for having the opportunity to encouraging so many little minds.

The capability to introduce new art materials to my students, will help them learn and realize that they have the ability within themselves to use their imaginations to create beautiful and meaningful works of art.
