Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 25 energetic and ready-to-learn kindergarten students.

For most of my students, this is their first school experience, and I want for it to be a memorable one!

Kindergarten is one of the first foundations for the rest of their educational careers, and your kind donation will help me maximize their experiences in my class.

Our school is located in Los Angeles, California. We are a 100% Title I school which means all of our students qualify for free meals.

My Project

I want my students to have these Magnetic tiles at home. These tiles are great for little hands and their fine motor skills. My students are not in class, they don't have access to the activities, supplies in the classroom to help develop their fine motor skills. I want them to have something fun and tangible at home that will help them.

Magnetic tiles also help develop children's imagination and inspiration.

I ordered these for my class last school year and the student's were so excited to show me what they built. It inspires them to want to talk about their creations. I want this class to have the same experience.

These tiles are also great for teaching math and science, they're STEAM toys that can be used for online distance learning.
