Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager learners with boundless curiosity and a hunger for stories that spark their imaginations. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives to our classroom community. However, our classroom lacks high-quality, engaging books.

To foster a love of reading and support their growth as confident, lifelong learners, I want to create a warm and inviting classroom library specifically designed for 1st to 3rd graders.

This library will include a variety of books that cater to their diverse interests and reading levels—everything from colorful picture books to early chapter books.

Additionally, I hope to add comfortable seating, organizational tools, and decor to make this space a place where students feel excited and relaxed as they explore new worlds through literature. This library will not only improve their literacy skills but also help develop empathy, creativity, and critical thinking.
