My Project

Hello everyone!

I’m excited to share that I’m the only Agricultural Education Teacher in our large City School District!

I teach 8th Grade Introduction to Agriculture and run after-school Animal Clubs for students in grades 6-8.

In my classroom, I have a small animal lab with rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, a turtle, chinchillas, hamsters, a bearded dragon, and rats. My students get hands-on experience with animal care, which helps them learn responsibility, teamwork, and even science concepts.

Having these animals in the classroom really enhances their learning experience. However, taking care of them can be expensive, and I often have to buy supplies myself. Your support would help us keep our animal lab running and make a difference for many students who have never interacted with animals before.
