Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

This proposal is for a first grade class in a low income area where the majority of the children earn free or reduced lunch. School is a place where my students come to learn, feel safe and most importantly have a little fun. This proposal is for a classroom laminator and the pouches that laminate the paper. Even though the school has a laminator it is usually broken and is very hard and expensive to fix. The school chooses to spend money on other things. A laminator in the classroom would be great to have because we could laminate the student's artwork, folders and important papers and they will be protected. The students would be able to keep it for a long time. I could also laminate a lot of my posters, charts, signs, the student desk tags etc... Since school supplies are expensive this is a great way to preserve the quality. Student work is also priceless and could be preserved forever. I am also asking for a paper cutter so that papers could be cut more precisely for art class. I would like to thank you in advance for funding this proposal. You can help a teacher as well as students preserve expensive and priceless materials.
