My Project

A listening center is a wonderful way to incorporate reading and listening in our learning centers to enrich literacy acquisition for my Pre-K students, especially our English Language Learners.

A Listening Center will give my students a chance to interact with meaningful, fun stories during center time and encourage a lifetime love for reading.

Listening Centers are an amazing tool to encourage students to learn and love reading stories. It can activate their imagination and their interest in different genres of books. This will also help develop necessary language skills for our language learners. Giving my students this classroom tool will be invaluable and a fantastic addition to our learning environment.`We are in need of a new cd player to help students listen to and interact with a variety of stories. The stories and cds are supportive of our units of study that we explore throughout the year.
