This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help my PreK students see the world through a lens!

My PreK students are full of curiosity, creativity, and wonder.

Every day, they explore the world around them, discovering new things through play, storytelling, and hands-on learning. I want to give them the opportunity to capture their experiences through photography, helping them build observation skills, self-expression, and confidence.

With your support, our preschoolers will receive kid-friendly instant cameras and film to capture moments of warmth and kindness in their daily lives. Whether it’s sharing a meal with a friend, bundling up in warm clothing, or helping a classmate, these young photographers will document the ways we take care of each other.

Your donation will help fund:

•Kid-friendly instant cameras (such as Fujifilm Instax or Polaroid models).

•Film packs so students can immediately see and share their photos.

Through this hands-on experience, students will learn about empathy, gratitude, and the power of giving. They will also develop early literacy and communication skills by creating captions and telling stories about their photos.

Your support will give our preschoolers a voice, a creative outlet, and a new way to see the world. Thank you for helping us capture kindness one picture at a time!
