Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

During this time of Blended Learning, my English Language Learners are being asked to develop skills both in-person and online, which is a completely new phenomenon! My students are a diverse group of learners in grades K-2, among the youngest and most promising of the N.Y. TOUGH ;

My Project

These 3D pens will be used by my second grade English Language Learner and special needs students. These handheld pens melt plastic and allow the students to create more than just Art. They will inspire students to engage in collaborative discussions about their designs.

These 3D pens are a great way to engage students in blended learning and can be used as an entry into STEAM projects.

They are easy to manipulate and have lesson plans for teachers to help students develop important Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math concepts.
