My Students

My students are amazing kids who face many challenges both at home and at school. My students all have various disabilities, but they don't let their disabilities hold them back.

All of my students are unique, but one thing is the same in each of them: they love to learn!

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and face many challenges before even entering our school. We work together everyday to overcome those challenges and reach new heights. I work with about seventy-five, special education students every week, reaching kids with various disabilities. My students love to move, explore, and play.

My Project

We are working hard this year to develop healthy social and emotional skills, and our little learners are no exception! We are working on identifying emotions and recognizing how emotions feel in our bodies and we are doing all of this through play!

Play is the best way for little learners to learn new information and social and emotional skills are best learned through fun!

New tools like Feeling Face Pineapples, dolls, and books that explain emotions simply, will allow some of the best kids in the world to learn new skills and calm down tools!
