This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My TK learners always enjoy dramatic outdoor play. Everyday they look forward to interacting with their classmates during this time.

They would love an educational yet durable market stand to learn real life experiences in finance at a little learner level.

This market stand would give my students pretend experiences to sell lemonade, fruits, vegetables, and bag groceries to their classmates. It would allow them to practice their counting, currency, speaking, and thinking skills needed in the real world. The market stand would also allow multiple students to stand alongside the counter assuring everyone to get a turn. The market stand’s shade also provides shade while being in the outdoors. Inspire my students to become active learners as they learn the basics of financial literacy!
