Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are highly motivated to learn new concepts and engage in our classroom discussion on a daily basis. I strive each day to bring hands-on activities and thought to evoke questions to engage them in the learning process. They are a wonderful group of kids and love to discover the beautiful world surrounding them.

My kids are talented, motivated and sassy, and I am lucky enough to teach and learn from them every day!

My kids don't skip a beat so I can't waste a moment of classroom learning time either. Learning is fun and inspiring, and I get to watch my kids grow and learn each and every day!

My Project

The school's volleyball and basketball teams: Lady Lions and Lions respectively need new volleyballs and basketballs to train. Support our teams as they are training and competing with other teams to become district champions.

Our school's basketball and volleyball teams have been winning and deserve new equipment to help them go even further.

Our students have been learning so much from playing these team sports: they have been learning teamwork, how to develop friendships and how to depend and trust each other. They have increased their endurance and became stronger while having fun. They have been representing our school but also becoming happier and healthier individuals!

Students that don't get enough exercise have difficulties maintaining a healthy weight and often are more insecure. Participating in the school basketball and volleyball teams have motivated us to be more productive and efficient in their schoolwork too! Help our students succeed because SPORTS MATTER!
