Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The supplies I’m requesting—reams of paper, laminating pouches, brown construction paper, and magnets—will significantly enrich our classroom learning. Paper is crucial for creative projects and educational activities, while laminating pouches make our teaching aids durable. Brown construction paper is ideal for art projects, and magnets will help set up interactive learning stations. These materials will make our classroom a vibrant space where students can actively engage and thrive.

My goal is to enhance learning by using these supplies to create hands-on and visually engaging activities.

This project will enable differentiated instruction and cater to various learning styles, ensuring all students can participate meaningfully. I plan to make interactive resources like math games and literacy centers to spark curiosity and boost academic skills. Ultimately, I aim to foster a love for learning and empower my students to reach their full potential.

My students are a remarkable group of young learners, many of whom are emergent bilinguals. They bring rich cultural experiences and have a strong desire to learn, showing resilience in overcoming challenges. Despite obstacles, they are hardworking and supportive of one another. With these resources, I want to create an inclusive space where their talents are celebrated, enabling them to impact their community positively.
