Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, we love our students’ creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning! They are eager to explore new ideas and take pride in their work, especially when they get to create something with their own hands. This project will give them the opportunity to develop real-world skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and financial literacy, all while having fun. Students will use the beads, clay, picture frames, clothespins, and elastic cords to create friendship bracelets, positivity pins, pinch pots, and picture frames to sell at our class bazaar. Here, students will get to use play money to buy these amazing goods!

Each resource will support their learning by providing materials to design and make their own products, fostering creativity and fine motor skills.

It will also help them understand the basics of entrepreneurship, from pricing to customer service, building confidence and a sense of ownership over their work. Most importantly, this project will show them that their ideas and efforts have value, inspiring them to dream big and believe in themselves!
