Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am seeking support for enhancing the hands-on STEM experiences for my TK students at my school. Our school is a Title I school and I love introducing them to STEM projects. I am aiming to purchase a Beaver Bot cardboard cutter and Tuff Tray with stand which will allow my students to create open-ended activities that foster creativity, problem solving and fine motor skills. The BeaverBot cardboard cutter will enable students to safely cut and manipulate recycled materials, promoting engineering skills and innovation construction independently without assistance from me. The Tuff Tray with stand will serve as a versatile work space for STEM explorations including sensory experiments, building challenges and collaborative play.

These tools will significantly enrich our classroom by supporting hands-on learning, critical thinking and teamwork - skills important for early childhood development.
