This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am an NYC kindergarten special education teacher. In kindergarten, children are curious about learning. They want to explore and expands their minds with knowledge. For our ELA and Math curriculum, students are expected to become little detectives by going on school community walks to make observations that connects to the unit of study. During their school community walk, they will formulate discussions about their observations and jotting them down. We would like clipboards for our students to place their graphic organizers to make it manageable for them to conduct their observations. Our students will also benefit from pencils and clip boards to write their observations. Please help my students become little detectives by sparking their curiosity!
