My Project
The students come to see me for art and library. My goal is to make sure that every time they walk through the door, their minds are completely engaged.
We are little cubs, but in library/art my goal is to make sure they leave with big, creative minds.
In order to do that, I try to have a variety of engaging learning stations for them. The Potato Heads will help work their fine motor skills, and grow their imaginations. The magnetic white board and dry erase crayons and markers, will help improve their ability of holding writing utensils, and grow their ability of writing their letters and numbers. The magnetic puzzles will improve their problem solving skills.
One of my goals for our students, is to be able to understand that there are characters in books. I use our library buddies, such as the Paw Patrol and Pokemon plushies, to introduce those characters and books.
