My Students

Do you remember what it was like the first time you looked through a microscope? Wow! I want my kids to experience that feeling of wonder and amazement.

I teach fifth grade in a small Los Angeles inner-city elementary school.

My students crave activity and new adventures in the classroom. Most of them have had limited experiences with the sciences. Our school district does not provide microscopes, but I think that having one for the students to use would increase their enthusiasm for science.

My Project

I am requesting a quality student microscope and a beginner's microscope slide set to build enthusiasm and further my students' curiosity into the sciences. We study life, earth, and physical sciences in fifth grade, and a microscope certainly would make the little things in science bigger than life!

Please help bring a new and wonderful experience to my deserving students.

They love to do new and interesting things and your donation would make for an unforgettable first time encounter with the tiny world that is all around us in our big world.
