Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Oh!... the weather out side has been delightful!, but that's about to change! In New York we truly experience four seasons, and most of our families need assistance in providing their little ones with appropriate clothing for this time of year.

Since we know winter comes every year, we want our preschoolers to be prepared to come to our learning community warm and ready to build on their academic and social development daily.

Your support allows us to provide them with warm clothing such as hats, gloves, scarves, warm pajamas and food.

The blankets will ensure warmth during our nap time experiences and during those times they are at home with their families.

We ask for food items so we can continue to make weekly food bags for each individual child to support healthier eating choices when they are not in school. They come back on Mondays refreshed and ready to start our school week.

We have been able to do this because of generous donors like yourselves!

Our success in this initiative depends on your generosity to our Preschool community and has become a vital part of our daily lives.

Remember every giving heart makes our jobs as teachers successful. We are grateful for all that you do to make our educational system better!
