My Students

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." Benjamin Franklin. My students are curious, ambitious and creative. Many of my students are English language learners. As a team, their families and I are working hard to help them achieve success. They are very curious and are learning through hands on exploration. They are explorers.

My students show enthusiasm when coming to school, and excitement when participating in exploration activities.

We work hard to encourage family participation in all aspects of the children's education. As our school continues to grow, our children are growing with us.

I am looking for new ways to encourage independence in my students. We are always looking for new ways to encourage the students to explore their surroundings.

My Project

All of the students take pride in each piece of art they complete. Younger children enjoy expressing themselves through art, and complete a number of art projects in one day. In a class of 15-10 students, art supplies are always in high demand.

Through ART, the students are developing their self - esteem and ownership of their work.

They are developing their verbal skills as they dictate and explain their thought process behind each piece they create. The use of the dry erase markers allows them to explore and experiment with lines and images as they develop their fine motor skills.

The students will proudly display their chosen art work using the Look what I made Frames. They will practice their writing skills with the write and wipe class set. They will be visually express themselves with these materials which will help them assert their independence.
