My Project

Social emotional skills are the foundation for lifelong learners. Daily lessons based on weekly themes help students to learn skills such as: asking for help, saying "I'm sorry", taking turns, and identifying feelings.

Quality literature can help create links and generate discussions for children learning foundational social emotional skills.

One book will be read each week during our large group time. The books will be placed in our classroom library for the children to re-read and discuss further. The skills will be further encouraged throughout our day in our play-based program. Our students are curious and at a perfect age for learning social emotional skills that will last a lifetime!
