This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach new-coming English Language Learners (who have been in the US 2 years or less) and after school Literature and Art classes. Our school is in the middle of a low income area . I am lucky enough to teach all grades, Kindergarten thru 6th grade, at different times throughout the day as well as a 2nd and 3rd grade Literature and art classes. I love my students and would love to have the supplies needed to bring a deeper appreciation for both Literature and the arts.

The beautiful literature and art supplies will help my students foster a love of reading, while having fun creating art projects.
