My Project
The specific items I am requesting will make a difference in students' learning because they will help me organize all the different lessons I am teaching daily. I teach consistently in small groups to meet the many needs of my students which means that within both my English Language Arts/Math block up to six to eight different lessons can be taught. The rolling carts will help organize the different materials for each group. The rug will offer a safe place during our small group on the carpet and the white boards will help support their language development. We use whiteboards when learning to read. It is an easy way for students to practice their phonics skills and for me to assess their progress.
My students are special because regardless of different challenges they work incredibly hard.
They have shown tremendous growth this year and I want to be as efficient as possible when teaching them each day. This will help organize my classroom so I can provide them with structured lessons daily. My goal is to give them all the support they need- everyone is at a different spot in their learning. Education is not one size fits all.
