Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, we will use these new whiteboards along with the high quality literacy tools to reinforce the reading skills in our curriculum. We will use the Lysol wipes to keep our classroom clean and germ-free so students stay healthy and attend school.

Our current whiteboards are old and stained, they are hard to write on.

Having new, magnetic whiteboards we will be able to write and build words to practice our letter names, sounds and blending.

My goal for this project is that my class will be able to stay engaged in whole group and small group literacy activities. I also hope that we can have wipes donated to keep our classroom clean rather than teachers purchasing out of pocket.

My class is a special group of Kindergarteners, they live in a low-income neighborhood with a strong desire to become readers like a "big kid". I want to utilize all the tools and resources I can to set these students up for a successful educational career!
