My Students

My students are in a Mandarin English Dual Language program in a public school system. They learn both languages across the curriculum every day. They are developing communication and literacy skills in both languages.

My students are enthusiastic, lively, inquisitive, and fun-loving.

They are learning to read, write, and count in the top two world languages. They need materials to support their learning.

My Project

My students learn to write in Chinese and English every day. Dry erase boards and markers are essential to engage them in practicing spelling and writing Chinese words. Cardstock will be utilized as flash cards to print learned words on for subsequent reading practice. Do-A-Dot Rainbow stamps will be used as a different approach to forming Chinese words and making counting collections. Linking cubes can help fortify number sense and counting skill.

My students are fun loving and creative.

They learn fast in fun filled activities. The donations to this project will help bring student learning to a new height.
