This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My group of students are self motivated and enthusiastic learners. Reading is such an important part of our learning that guides our discussions and challenges our thinking.

With high quality texts from different genres, my students will engage in rich conversations and explore our beautiful world.

Reading stimulates students imagination and expands their understanding of our complex world. I want to be able to provide books that they can hold and manipulate instead of relying in technology for opportunities to read.

In addition, the supplies will be used to capture their thinking in our classroom.
