My Students

I need your help growing strong readers who have the exposure and confidence to read fluently and with comprehension. I need quality materials to deliver instruction that will support my struggling students as they gain the literacy skills needed for a lifetime of reading! Thanks!!

My students are a very diverse group of third graders who need to be engaged to facilitate their learning.

They need to feel excitement in the classroom and want to be pushed to meet their full potential. My students attend a suburban school that has a large population, yet there is a strong sense of community.

My Project

I have requested materials that will give my students practice with fluency and comprehension. My students will have the opportunity to work independently and in small groups with these materials. This will allow me to differentiate and meet the needs of all my students in reading. I am asking for a Nonfiction Listening Center, Fluency partner scripts, a Fluency Activity CD pack and Small Group Nonfiction Comprehension Folders. Each item will support my students as they practice fluency and comprehension skills to strengthen their reading.

This is important to my students because they are excited about reading and I want to keep the momentum of their excitement rolling!

I want to have materials available that support them and keep them engaged.
