My Project
My students will use this to enhance their writing skills, inside and outside of the classroom.
Students are working on their narrative, informative/explanatory and opinion/argument writing!
The cards will provide students with step-by-step instructions and easy-to-follow writing prompts. My students are working on the pre-writing process, identifying important information, identifying the main idea, and gathering ideas to grouping related information into paragraphs.
This activity will allow my students more ways to practice these skills, allowing for more independence during writing in the classroom. Cards can also be easily adapted to target decoding and reading comprehension as well.
