My Students

My school is located in a small, rural community with multiple students receiving Title I services and free/reduced lunch. My classroom is full of little humans who are eager to explore all that is provided for them. Despite these challenging times, each day they come to school ready to learn in an environment that is steadily moving toward supporting these 21st-century learners.

My Project

Recently, I purchased an absolutely fantastic literacy resource that will help my students develop stronger phonemic awareness and phonics skills. It contains tons of decodable books and 'stand alone' pages that I will have to print, copy, laminate and bind. Creating decodable books for my students using these resources would be a game changer in my classroom! Efficient and proper storage will create a better learning experience for my students since the resources will be organized and at my fingertips ready to go!

By donating to my project, you will not only help to improve the quality of these decodable books, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
