My Project

My students are a diverse group of enthusiastic preschool learners. They are very international - we have students from India, Bangladesh, Ecuador, Guyana, Trinidad, Jamaica, Mexico, Colombia and many more fabulous countries.

This project will help provide hands-on lessons and activities to foster my students' language development and literacy skills.

I will be teaching as a Literacy Specialist this school year. However, it is the first year that this position is being held at my school so there are no resources for me to use unless I buy them myself! As you know, 3, 4 and 5-year-olds learn best with materials they can touch and manipulate - I cannot simply print worksheets for them. Therefore, this project is extremely important for their success.
